  July 4-6, 2024, as part of the World Bronchiectasis Day initiative.\n
   Professor James Chalmers is Asthma and Lung UK Chair of Respiratory 
 Research at the University of Dundee and a Consultant Respiratory Phys
 ician at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, UK. His main clinical interests
  are in difficult lung infections and particularly bronchiectasis. He 
 runs a research group focused on developing new treatments for bronchi
 ectasis and related conditions. He chairs the European Bronchiectasis 
 Registry and is current Chair of the European Respiratory Society Bron
 chiectasis Clinical Practice Guideline Panel. He is current Chief Edit
